Getting started with Minecraft Minecr10

Coliseum Server Link http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=9336f93b90060882c9898b41c7382611

Making a Minecraft account
1-- http://www.minecraft.net/ Go to the main Minecraft site and click Register in the upper right corner.
2-- Create a user name and password and enter your email address. (email is required, but not used for anything)

Getting the WoM client
1-- http://www.worldofminecraft.com/ Go to the WoM site and click Create new account.
2-- Enter the same information you entered on the main Minecraft site. (email is necessary for this)
3-- You should be sent an email from WoM for verification. (if the email is not in your inbox, it may be in the spam folder)
4-- After you have verified your account, return to the main WoM page and click Downloads in the left bar.
5-- The first item listed should be the WoM custom client. If so, click download.
6-- Scroll to the bottom of the first post, below the "digg" counter, and you should see womclient-1.5.9.zip.
7-- Download the .zip file along with this http://minecraft.net/client/minecraft.jar
8-- Create a folder on your desktop and extract the WoM zip file into it. (Just label this folder as Minecraft)
9-- Open the 'lib' folder in your Minecraft folder and insert the Minecraft.jar from step 7.
10- To open the client, double click the run.bat file in the Minecraft folder.
11- If your name and password are valid, it should bring up the list of open servers.
12- Save the Coliseum server link above in the bookmarks tab.
13- Hooray, you're finished.

Alternative Client with realistic textures

http://res.duochan.com/outgoing/Arcadia_7chan_womclient-1.5.9.zip

This client works the exact same as the default WoM client, just with better textures.
There is a link to the Arcadia server in the readme file if anyone feels like dropping by.
We like seeing new people Very Happy

If anyone has any questions or encounters any problems, feel free to let me know and I'll be glad to help.
